Kaiser’s legal filing rewrites that sequence entirely. The encounter actually started in an elevator, where Reap made comments about respect to Kaiser’s companion. Things escalated from there. According to the filing, Reap approached Kaiser with his hands raised in a threatening way, so Kaiser pushed him away in self-defense. During the scuffle, Reap hurled a soft drink bottle at Kaiser.
