Ryan Blaney Wins NASCAR’s Quaker State 400 in 3 a.m. Finish After Rain Delay

Ryan Blaney won the NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 at EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia on July 12, 2026. The race didn’t cross the finish line until 3 a.m.

A three-hour rain delay pushed the event deep into the night. NASCAR restarted at 12:01 a.m., and drivers faced a late-night sprint to the checkered flag that tested everyone’s nerves—both on and off the track.

Blaney, driving the No. 12 BODYARMOR FLASH I.V. Ford, made his move on the final lap to take the win. He beat Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 Columbia PFG/Academy Sports Toyota, along with Christopher Bell, Carson Hocevar and the rest of the field.

Wallace came home second, but a penalty dulled the finish. He was penalized for crossing the yellow line and advancing position—a move that cost him dearly in a race decided by mere feet.
