From first meeting to five ATP titles in a single season—that’s exactly what Théo Arribagé and Albano Olivetti pulled off on Saturday at the Mallorca Country Club. They defeated André Göransson and Evan King 7:6(6), 3:6, 11:9 in the final.
The match unfolded on 27 June 2026 over one hour and 44 minutes. Arribagé and Olivetti took the opening set in a tie-break 8:6, but Göransson and King fought back to level it at 6:3 in the second. Everything came down to the super tie-break, where the French pair held their composure to win 11:9.
Their serve was nearly untouchable. They lost only six points on serve across the entire final and saved two of three break points—a defensive display that proved decisive when the match hung in the balance.
This Mallorca trophy marks their fifth ATP title of 2026. The pair had already won in Auckland, Montpellier, Dallas and Halle before touching down in Spain. They didn’t team up until October of the previous year at Almaty, so their rapid ascent to multiple titles feels almost improbable.
Getting there wasn’t straightforward. In their opening match at Mallorca, they saved two match points before eventually claiming the trophy.
History was made here too. Arribagé and Olivetti became the first all-French pair ever to win the Mallorca doubles title. The tournament itself has become a fixture on the grass-court calendar since 2021, now sitting squarely in the week before Wimbledon.
By the end of Mallorca, they’d compiled a 32:13 record for the season and climbed to seventh in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings. No other team managed five ATP titles in 2026—Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten sat second with four.
