Should WWE Producers Get Their Own Action Figures?

Why shouldn’t current WWE producers have their own action figures? Matt Cardona thinks they should. In a conversation with The Sportster, the wrestler made the case for merchandise celebrating the behind-the-scenes talent who shape WWE programming.

“I would love a Billy Kidman or a Jamie Noble or Abyss or Kenny from the Spirit Squad,” Cardona said. Those four—Kidman, Noble, Abyss, and Kenny Dykstra—are all current WWE producers who spent years performing in the ring before moving into their present roles.

The pitch speaks to what wrestling fans actually want: merchandise celebrating wrestlers beyond the active roster. These producers bring decades of in-ring experience and built-in fan support, yet WWE’s toy line largely ignores them. It’s a simple reminder of how much of WWE’s creative engine depends on talent working away from the cameras.
