Justin Bieber Joins Madonna, BTS, Shakira for Historic FIFA World Cup Halftime Show

July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium: the world’s biggest soccer final will pause for 11 minutes of music history. Justin Bieber has been added as a co-headliner to the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS. This marks the first Halftime Show in FIFA World Cup history.

The bill runs deep. Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, PS22 Chorus, Coldplay, and characters from The Muppets will take the stage. Coldplay’s Chris Martin, who curated the entire show, brings his experience as international curator of the Global Citizen Festival to the project.

There’s real stakes here beyond the spectacle. Every ticket sold to World Cup matches will trigger a $1 donation to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million for education and football access in underserved communities worldwide. The fund has already secured $50 million.
