Anane Faces Suakim at The Inner Circle 25; Kovtun Draws Lobo at ONE Fight Night 45

Nabil Anane will face Suakim Pongsuphan PK in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash at The Inner Circle 25 on Friday, August 7. The event streams live in Asia primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium.

At 22 and standing 6 feet 4 inches tall, Anane is a former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion. He captured the ONE Interim Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title at ONE 170 by defeating Nico ‘King of the North’ Carrillo, dropping him three times in the opening round. He was later elevated to undisputed ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion. That reign ended in March when Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon defeated him via unanimous decision at The Inner Circle 7. Anane bounced back at ONE 172, avenging his loss to Superlek with a unanimous decision victory.

Suakim, 30, brings serious credentials to the ring. The former three-division Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion has logged more than 200 fights. He earned his ONE Championship main-roster contract by stopping Komawut FA Group in the second round at ONE Friday Fights 100. Since then, he’s reeled off seven straight wins, including a dominant third-round performance against Jake Peacock at ONE 173. His most recent outing came in April—a commanding unanimous decision over Vladimir Kuzmin at ONE Fight Night 42.

The Inner Circle 25 card also features Abdulla ‘Smash Boy’ Dayakaev squaring off against reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion ‘The Kicking Machine’ Superlek in a bantamweight Muay Thai rematch.

On July 17, ONE Fight Night 45 takes place in U.S. primetime from Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, where Dmitrii ‘The Silent Assassin’ Kovtun will face Felipe ‘Demolition Man’ Lobo. The matchup emerged after Suakim was originally scheduled to face Kovtun at ONE Fight Night 45, but the bout was reshuffled. Kovtun arrives riding a two-fight winning streak, with his latest result a unanimous decision over Mohanad ‘Solo’ Battbootti at ONE Fight Night 42. Lobo, a two-time ONE gold challenger, suffered a unanimous decision loss to Nontachai Jitmuangnon at ONE Fight Night 43 in May.
